Ryanair’s Deals With Finnish Airport Aren’t Illegal Aid, EU Says

Ryanair Holdings PLC (RYA)’s deals with Finland’s Tampere airport aren’t an illegal form of state subsidy, the European Commission said.

The agreements were made on the same terms as a private investor would have accepted and “confer no economic advantage to Ryanair,” the EU’s antitrust agency said today in an e- mailed statement.
