Serbia Will Ask Russia for ‘Budgetary Support’ Loan, Blic Says

Serbia will ask Russia to switch part of a loan approved for railway upgrades into budget aid, Blic reported, citing Finance Minister-Designate Mladjan Dinkic.

Russia has approved $800 million for the rail upgrade and “we have signals that a part, worth a couple of hundred million dollars, will be transformed into budgetary support,” Blic cited Dinkic as saying.
