Romanian Court Upholds Referendum Extended Hours, Mediafax Says

Romania’s Constitutional Court upheld today a voting-hours extension at the presidential impeachment referendum on July 29, news service Mediafax reported today.
The court said the Parliament change to a referendum law that lengthened voting times by four extra hours was constitutional, after debating the challenges submitted by the opposition last week, the Bucharest-based news agency said today, citing the court’s ruling.
