Syrian Generals Among 160 Crossing Into Turkey, Anatolia Says

Two generals and two colonels in the Syrian military were among 160 Syrians who crossed the border into Turkey seeking refuge, the state-run Anatolia news agency reported.

About 44,000 Syrians have fled to Turkey to escape the violence in their country, and the number of military defections has been increasing, Anatolia said, citing the prime minister’s office.
