Scott Holds Four-Shot Lead on Woods in British Open Third Round

Adam Scott leads Tiger Woods by four shots in the third round of golf’s British Open.

Scott is 11 under par at Royal Lytham & St. Annes in northwest England. The Australian is 2 under par through 14 holes today.

Woods, seeking his 15th major title and first in four years, is 1 under through 14 holes and 7 under for the championship.

Northern Ireland’s Graeme McDowell is in third place at 6- under, one shot better than second-round leader Brandt Snedeker of the U.S., who is 5 over par today.
