Cameroon Robusta Exports Advance While Arabica Drops in June

Shipments of Robusta coffee from Cameroon rose by 95 percent in June, while those of Arabica fell 27 percent, according to a joint report from the Cocoa and Coffee Board and the Cocoa and Coffee Interprofessional Board.
Robusta exports rose to 4,848 metric tons from 2,486 tons a year earlier and Arabica exports slumped to 368 tons from 505 tons, the agencies said in an e-mail from the port city of Douala today. Total exports for robusta beans are 16,603 metric tons since the season started in December while the number for the Arabica variety is 1,573 tons since October.
