Peru Stocks: Candente, Casa Grande, Panoro, Southern

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) rose 0.3 percent to 20,088.64. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.2 percent to 2,699.54.

Casa Grande (CASAGRC1) (CASAGRC1 PE), Peru’s largest sugar producer and a unit of Gloria SA, rose 2.4 percent to 13.11 soles after sugar gained for a fourth day in New York, said Francisco Miranda, an analyst at Lima-based investment fund NC&F Inversiones SA.

Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian exploration company, climbed 1.9 percent to 54 cents after copper advanced in New York.

Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO) , Peru’s biggest copper producer, gained 1.6 percent to $32.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, advanced 1.6 percent to 64 cents.

Maple Energy Plc (MPLE) , the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, rose 1 percent to $1.04 after crude advanced for a sixth session in New York.
