Egyptian Stocks: Talaat Moustafa Group, Maridive & Oil Services
Egypt’s benchmark EGX 30 Index (EGX30) advanced for a third day, gaining less than 0.1 percent to 4,819.5 at the 2:30 p.m. close in Cairo.
The following shares were active on the Egyptian Exchange. Stock symbols follow company name.
Maridive & Oil Services SAE (MOIL) , an Egyptian offshore support services company, rose 0.9 percent, the most in more than two weeks, to $1.07. Oil futures rose to $89.22 a barrel yesterday, the highest level since May, before retreating 0.4 percent today.
Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMGH EY) increased as much as 1.3 percent to 4.06 pounds before closing at 4.03 pounds, the highest level in more than a week. The stock rose for a third day after Egypt’s biggest publicly traded real estate developer told investors yesterday its legal position in a land dispute is “strong.”
