Emerging Stocks Pare Gains as Bernanke Cites No Specific Steps

Emerging-market stocks pared gains after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke refrained from discussing specific stimulus steps to boost the recovery.

The MSCI Emerging Markets Index added 0.7 percent to 932.76 by 10:30 a.m. in New York, after advancing as much as 0.9 percent earlier today.
