Portugal Telecom CEO Won’t Comment on Veja Report, Jornal Says

Portugal Telecom SGPS SA (PTC) Chief Executive Officer Zeinal Bava declined to comment on a report that said Tim Participacoes SA (TIMP3) may hire him as the company’s new CEO, Jornal de Negocios reported today, citing Bava.

Bava was interviewed for the job at Telecom Italia SpA’s Brazilian unit by company executives, Veja magazine reported on July 14, without saying where it got the information.
