BNDES to Boost Loans for Infrastructure Projects, Estado Says

Brazil’s national development bank, or BNDES, plans to increase loans by 20 percent this year for projects in transportation and logistics to 5.6 billion reais ($2.75 billion), O Estado de S.Paulo reported, citing Dalmo Marchetti, manager of the logistics department at BNDES.

The projects to be funded by BNDES include the renovation of airports in Brasilia and Sao Paulo, O Estado said.
