Ukraine Seen Shipping a Record 150,000 Tons of Sugar, IFX Says

Ukraine may export a record 150,000 metric tons of sugar this marketing year, which will end next month, Interfax-Ukraine news agency reported, citing a person with knowledge of the matter in the Ukrtsukor producers’ group.

Ukraine exported 118,300 tons of sugar, mainly to Kazakhstan, from September through June, the news agency said. The country shipped 6,200 tons of sweetener in the previous marketing year.
