Russian Farm Production to Rise 20% by 2020, Fedorov Says

Russia’s agricultural output is predicted to grow 20 percent by 2020 compared with next year, Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fedorov said at a government meeting in Moscow today.

Livestock breeding may rise almost 20 percent and crop growing, which includes grains, vegetables and other plantings, might increase 19 percent by 2020, he said.
