Belgium’s Apetra, the agency that manages the country’s strategic oil stockpiles, is tendering to rent storage tanks for either 200,000 cubic meters of crude or 160,000 cubic meters of middle distillate fuels.
The agency is seeking to sign contracts between January and November next year, for leases lasting as many as seven years, Alain De Mot, Apetra’s general manager said by phone from Brussels today.
The deadline for bids from shortlisted companies is Aug. 16 at noon Brussels time and the tender will be awarded in the second half of September, he said.
