Peru Stocks: Southern Copper, Sulliden, Trevali Mining
The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell for a sixth day, dropping 0.7 percent to 20,089.31. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index was little changed at 2,689.79.
Trevali Mining Corp. (TV) , a Canadian silver and zinc producer with operations in Peru, fell 4.3 percent to 88 cents on investor concern that growth in China is slowing, said Hernando Pastor, an analyst at Lima-based Kallpa Securities SAB.
Sulliden Gold Corp Ltd. (SUE) , an exploration company, dropped 2.8 percent to $1.04 as the metal declined for a second day in New York.
Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO) , Peru’s biggest producer of the metal, gained 1.3 percent to $31.15 as copper advanced in New York.
