Sun Edison Sells $220 Million Bulgarian Solar Park, Capital Says

Sun Edison, the development unit of MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. (WFR), sold Bulgaria’s largest solar park to Malta-registered ACF Renewable Energy for 350 million lev ($220 million), Capital Daily reported, without saying where it got the information.
The 60.4-megawatt Karadzhalovo solar park in southern Bulgaria was put into operation in March and cost 181.4 million euros ($223 million), according to the International Finance Corporation, which helped fund the project.
