Nakheel Expects $544 Million Retail Revenue, Bayan Says

Nakheel PJSC expects revenue from malls and hotels to reach two billion dirhams ($544 million) by the end of 2014 as several retail projects are completed, Al Bayan newspaper reported, citing the company’s chairman.

Revenue from malls may reach 500 million dirhams by the end of this year, Ali Rashed Lootah said, according to the report. The Dubai-based developer has announced several retail and entertainment projects such as Dragon Mall extension and The Point walk at the tip of the artificial Palm Jumeirah island.
