Colombia Stocks: Ecopetrol, Pacific Rubiales Energy Were Active

The following companies had unusual price changes in Bogota trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are as of the close of trading.

The IGBC Index (IGBC) was little changed at 13,713.28 while the Colcap Index slid 0.4 percent to 1,660.33.

Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp. (PRE) , which operates the country’s largest oil field, gained 1.6 percent to 40,700 pesos. Crude rose for the first time in three days in New York.

Ecopetrol SA (ECOPETL) , Colombia’s largest oil company, fell 0.2 percent to 4,990 pesos. Ecopetrol said the army is securing an area in the southern province of Putumayo after its OSO pipeline was sabotaged yesterday.
