A parliamentary committee in Uganda cleared three ministers, including the prime minister, of corruption in oil deals after failing to get evidence against them, Sunday Vision reported, citing the committee’s draft report.
Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Kutesa and Internal Affairs Hilary Onek were cleared of the allegations, the Kampala-based newspaper reported. The report will be released at the end of month, it said.
