Saudi Arabian Princess Seeks Asylum in U.K., Telegraph Reports

Saudi Arabia’s Princess Sara bint Talal bin Abdulaziz is seeking asylum in the U.K. because she fears she may be kidnapped, The Sunday Telegraph said, citing her.

Princess Sara said senior Saudi officials are plotting to kidnap her and take her back to her home country, the newspaper reported yesterday. Her lawyers notified the Home Office of her plan to seek asylum on July 6, the newspaper said. The princess is the granddaughter of the kingdom’s founder, according to the Telegraph.
