Thailand Stock Movers: Advanced Info, Premier Marketing, PTTEP

Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Thailand trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are as of the 4:30 p.m. close in Bangkok.

The SET Index (SET) fell 0.1 percent to 1,200.08. The gauge gained 2.4 percent this week, a second straight weekly advance.

Oil producers: PTT Pcl (PTT) , the nation’s biggest company, declined 1.2 percent to 334 baht, its largest drop since June 25. PTT Exploration & Production Pcl (PTTEP) , the biggest listed explorer, lost 0.6 percent to 177 baht. Crude oil futures declined as much as 1.7 percent to $85.70 a barrel in after-hours trading in New York, extending yesterday’s 0.5 percent slide.

Advanced Info Service Pcl (ADVANC) , the nation’s biggest mobile-phone company, gained 1.8 percent to a record 197 baht. Net income in the second quarter may increase 40 percent from a year earlier to 8.6 billion baht ($271.8 million), Bualuang Securities Pcl wrote in a note to clients today.

Premier Marketing Pcl (PM) , a snack-food distributor, rose 1.7 percent to 5.85 baht, the highest close since May 23. Premier Canning Industries Ltd., a subsidiary, paid the company an interim dividend of 20 baht per share, Premier said today in a regulatory filing.

Premier Technology Pcl (PT) , a distributor of audio and video equipment, rose 4.9 percent to 3.44 baht, the biggest gain in a week. The company’s Datapro Computer Systems Co. unit paid an interim dividend of 133 baht per share to Premier, it said today in a statement.
