LNG Tanker Signaling U.K. Heading to Spain, Shipping Data Show
A liquefied natural gas tanker that gives the U.K. port of Milford Haven as its destination is heading to Spain, ship-tracking data show.
The Seri Angkasa LNG carrier, sailing from Nigeria, changed its destination to the U.K. on June 26, IHS Inc. (IHS) data show. The vessel was last seen in the Mediterranean Sea on a course for Barcelona. The terminal in northeast Spain is due to receive 140,000 cubic meters of LNG today, according to Enagas SA (ENG) data on its website, which doesn’t identify tankers.
Separately, the Bu Samra LNG tanker is sailing to the U.K.’s South Hook terminal from the Gulf state of Qatar and is scheduled to arrive in south Wales today, according to the Milford Haven Port Authority’s website. It was last seen yesterday off the coast of Portugal, ship-tracking data show.
