Bolivian Government Seeks Release of Silver Workers, Cambio Says
Bolivia Interior Minister Carlos Romero said the government will not negotiate with the community of Mallku Khota while it holds workers from a South American Silver (SAC) unit, state daily Cambio reported, without saying where it got the information.
Five people associated with the company are believed held by the community in a conflict over mining concessions and the arrest of a local leader, national outlet Radio Erbol reported, without saying where it obtained the information.
