Taiwan’s CPC Corp. Shuts No. 4 Naphtha Cracker for Maintenance

Taiwan’s CPC Corp. shut its No. 4 naphtha cracker for at least seven days of maintenance work, according to two company officials.

The plant in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, was halted this week, the officials said, asking not to be identified because of company policy. The unit can make 385,000 metric tons a year of ethylene, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
