EBRD to Fund Ukraine’s Energy Efficiency Projects, Izvestia Says

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development may invest at least 100 million euros ($126 million) next year to improve the energy efficiency of apartment buildings in Ukraine, Ekonomicheskie Izvestia reported, citing EBRD’s senior project manager Sergiy Maslichenko.
The EBRD will provide financing after Ukraine reforms its management system of the apartment buildings, according to the newspaper. The cost of improving the external insulation residential buildings in Ukraine may be as much as 30 billion euros, Izvestia said.
