Majority of Russians Oppose Weapons Exports, Survey Shows

Russia shouldn’t sell arms to other countries even if it receives a high price, 70 percent of Russians said, according to the Public Opinion Foundation.

The survey of 1,500 people was conducted June 23-24 and will be published next week, Inna Ivanova, a representative of the Moscow-based pollster, said by phone today. The margin of error is 3.6 percent, it said.
