Peru Stocks: Buenaventura, Panoro, Pomalca, Relapasa

The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the market close in Lima.

The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell for a fourth session, dropping 0.6 percent to 20,207.16. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.7 percent to 2,675.46.

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, fell 3.1 percent to 63 cents as copper declined in New York.

Cia. de Minas Buenaventura SAA (BVN PE), the country’s biggest precious-metals miner, slid 2.5 percent to $36.95 after gold dropped in New York, said Daniel Romero, an analyst at Lima-based investment fund NC&F Inversiones SA.

Empresa Agroindustrial Pomalca SA (POMALCC1 PE), a sugar producer, fell 2 percent to 50 centimos after sugar declined in New York.

Refineria la Pampilla SA (RELAPAC1 PE), a unit of Repsol YPF SA known as Relapasa, dropped 1.6 percent to 62 centimos as crude slumped to an eight-month low in New York. The Peruvian government today cut fuel prices at refineries by as much as 7 percent.

Maple Energy Plc (MPLE) , the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, slid 1 percent to $1.02.
