Brazil Government Said to Set 2014 Inflation Target at 4.5%

Brazil’s National Monetary Council plans to set today its inflation target for 2014 at the current level of 4.5 percent plus or minus two percentage points, said two officials familiar with the plan who asked not to be identified because the announcement will be made later today.
