Bahrain Seeks Suspects After 5 Tons of Explosive Materials Found

Bahraini police are seeking three people suspected of assembling home-made bombs after 5 tons of explosive materials were uncovered during raids, the Information Affairs Authority said.

“The explosives were designed to cause severe injury, a high death toll, serious destruction to property, and fear in the minds of the public,” Major-General Tariq al-Hassan, chief of public security, said in the statement.
