Windreich Names Former Areva Renewable Head to Post, Studies IPO
Windreich AG appointed the former head of Areva SA (AREVA)’s renewable energy business as chief operating officer as Germany’s largest developer of offshore wind farms considers an initial public share offer.
Anil Srivastava, previously chief executive officer at Areva Renewables, has “the expertise required for a potential international IPO,” Willi Balz, chief executive officer at Windreich, said today in an e-mailed statement.
Srivastava will lead technology, projects, international sales as well as marketing for Windreich, the Wolfschlugen-based company said. Windreich is preparing for a possible IPO of 25 percent of its shares this fall, Balz was cited as saying in an interview this month in Die Welt.
