Sinar Mas Agro, Telkom, Tunas Baru: Indonesian Equity Preview

Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.

The Jakarta Composite index (JCI) fell 0.8 percent to 3,857.59.

PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology (SMAR IJ): The palm oil producer plans to offer 1 trillion rupiah ($106 million) of five-year and seven-year bonds with an option to buy back the debt after a year, Sinar Mas said in a statement in Bisnis Indonesia. The stock was unchanged at 6,400 rupiah.

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM) : Indonesia’s biggest telephone company expects first-half net income to rise as much as 7 percent to 8.56 trillion rupiah with its mobile-phone business contributing the most to revenue, Kontan reported, citing Finance Director Honesti Basyir. Telkom, as the company is also known, rose 0.7 percent to 7,800 rupiah.

PT Tunas Baru Lampung (TBLA) : The palm-oil producer plans to sell 1 trillion rupiah of five-year bonds with a coupon rate of 10.5 percent from June 27 through June 29 and on July 2, the company said in a statement in Investor Daily Indonesia. Tunas Baru declined 1.9 percent to 520 rupiah.
