Finma Plans Stricter Capital Rules for Insurers, Sonntag Says

Switzerland’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority plans to introduce stricter capital rules for property and casualty insurers, Der Sonntag reported, citing Rene Schnieper, who heads insurance supervision.

It’s not yet clear how much more capital insurers will need, Schnieper said, according to the newspaper.
