IATA Gives 90 Days to Air Zimbabwe for Safety Check, Herald Says

Air Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd. has been given 90 days to conduct a safety audit or face suspension from foreign airports by the International Air Transport Association, state-controlled Herald reported, citing Innocent Mavhunga, the airline’s chief executive officer.

The state-owned carrier didn’t conduct its six-monthly safety audit, which is a condition for IATA membership, the Harare-based newspaper reported.
