Peru Stock Movers: Atacocha, Candente Copper, Panoro
The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of market close in Lima.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) rose 0.4 percent to 20,509.26. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 0.3 percent to 2,727.27.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian mining exploration company with operations in Peru, rose 1.8 percent to 56 cents after the company said villagers will vote July 8 on a three-year surface access agreement for its Canariaco copper project.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian copper and gold exploration company, fell for a third session, losing 3.1 percent to 63 cents after copper dropped to a six-month low in London.
Cia. Minera Atacocha SA (ATACOBC1 PE), a Lima-based zinc mining company, slid 2.2 percent to 44 centimos after zinc futures declined for a third session in London.
