Peru Stocks: Candente, Maple, Panoro, Southern Copper
The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the market close.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) fell 1.3 percent to 20,434.58. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index slid 1.7 percent to 2,734.43.
Maple Energy Plc (MPLE) , the oil and natural gas producer with operations in Peru, fell 3.7 percent to $1.03 after crude slumped in New York.
Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian gold and copper exploration company, dropped 4.4 percent to 65 cents after copper declined in New York.
Candente Copper Corp. (DNT) , a Canadian copper exploration company, slid 3.5 percent to 55 cents.
Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO) , Peru’s biggest copper producer, slid 3.2 percent to $30.39.
