Chile Probe Finds Bachelet’s Father Died From Torture, Emol Says

Alberto Bachelet, a former Chilean air force general and father of former President Michelle Bachelet, died as a result of torture conducted while he was imprisoned after the military coup of 1973, El Mercurio’s online edition Emol.com reported today, citing magistrate Mario Carroza.
