The second-ranking member of the University of Virginia’s board resigned today, the latest development in the controversy surrounding the forced departure of President Teresa Sullivan.
Mark Kington, vice rector of the university’s Board of Visitors, stepped down today, according to a letter he sent to Virginia Governor Robert McDonnell.
