Heather Graham, Jean-Jacques Annaud Judge at Shanghai Film Fest

Heather Graham, Chinese actress Li Bingbing and French film director Jean-Jacques Annaud are among jury members for Golden Goblet Award at the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival.

Annaud heads the international jury. He once angered Chinese officials with his film “Seven Years in Tibet” and won an Oscar for Best Foreign-Language Film in 1976 for “Black and White in Color.”

Graham is known for her roles in “Boogie Nights” and “The Spy Who Shagged Me” and Li for “A World Without Thieves,” and “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan,” a Sino-U.S. co-production directed by Wayne Wang and produced by Wendi Deng Murdoch.

Chinese-American producer Terence Chang, whose company WCG Entertainment Productions made “Mission: Impossible II” and “Face/Off,” also sits on the jury.

The winner for the Golden Goblet Best film award will be chosen from among 17 films including entries from Russia, China, Mexico, Iran, Finland, Japan, Canada and France. No film from the U.S. was nominated.

The other award categories include best director, best screenplay, best actress and actor, best cinematography and best music and will be announced on June 24, the final day of the festival. The festival will feature about 300 Chinese and foreign films shown at 28 different cinemas.
