Brookfield May Buy Hammerson London Offices, Property Week Says

Brookfield Office Properties Inc. (BPO) is in exclusive talks to acquire Hammerson Plc (HMSO)’s London office portfolio for more than 500 million pounds ($777 million), Property Week reported, citing people with knowledge of the negotiations.
The exclusivity period ends June 22. Brookfield is acquiring 13 properties, including Hammerson’s development sites, the magazine reported.
No one was immediately available to comment on the report at Hammerson or at New York-based Brookfield.
