Czech Stocks: Kit Digital, CEZ Utility Move in Prague Trading

The Czech Republic’s PX (PX) stock index rose 0.3 percent to 875.90 at the close in Prague, its second day of gains.

The following were among the most active equities on the Prague Stock Exchange today. Stock symbols follow company names.

CEZ AS (CEZ) , the biggest Czech utility, fell for a fifth day, sliding 0.4 percent to 725 koruna. Electricity for next-year delivery in Germany, where the company exports part of its output, dropped 0.6 percent to 47.70 euros a megawatt-hour, the lowest price since November 2010.

Kit Digital Inc. (KITD) increased 1.9 percent to 77.45 koruna, taking this week’s gains to 28 percent. The producer of software for online video earlier jumped as much as 12 percent after it said yesterday it is meeting with potential buyers.
