BASF May Make Acquisitions in Food Ingredients, Dagblad Says

BASF SE (BAS) plans to grow in functional food ingredients and doesn’t rule out acquisitions in that field, Michael Heinz, a board member, was cited as saying in an interview with Het Financieele Dagblad.

Potential acquisition targets require profitable growth and must be innovative, Heinz said.
