EnBW Questionable Payments to Russian Companies Expand, SZ Says

Questionable payments by EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (EBK) to the Russian firm of Andrej Bykow are higher than previously known, Sueddeutsche Zeitung reported in a preview of an article to appear today, citing internal documents.

The amounts involved have risen to 300 million euros ($377 million) from 130 million euros, the newspaper reported.

And EnBW spokesman confirmed yesterday a contract volume of 280 million euros, the newspaper said. A layer for Bykow declined to comment, SZ reported.
