Air France to Look at Job Cuts on June 21, Les Echos Reports

Air France (AF) will identify possible job cuts at a meeting of the airline’s central committee on June 21, Les Echos reported, citing labor union sources.

The reductions, part of a plan to cut costs by 2 billion euros ($2.5 billion) by 2015, would involve only ground personnel, who account for 32,000 of Air France’s 53,000 employees, the newspaper said.
