Lenovo Aims to Beat Acer This Year in Germany, Handelsblatt Says

Lenovo Group Ltd. (992) wants to become the biggest seller of computers in Germany this year, beating Acer Inc. (2353) and Hewlett-Packard Co., Handelsblatt reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Yang Yuanqing.

Lenovo’s share of the German market for laptop and desktop computers was 14.9 percent in the first quarter, compared with 15 percent for Acer, according to the newspaper.
