Indonesian Equity Movers: Energi Mega Persada, Jasa Marga
Shares of the following companies had unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are as of the close of trading.
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 1.1 percent to 3,866.21, the first gain in three days and the highest close since May 30.
PT Energi Mega Persada (ENRG) , Indonesia’s second- largest listed oil company, increased 5.8 percent to 145 rupiah, snapping a two-day loss. Crude oil for July delivery increased 2.4 percent to $86.13 a barrel in New York. Futures rose 1.1 percent last week, the first weekly gain in six.
PT Jasa Marga (JSMR) , Indonesia’s largest toll-road operator, gained 2 percent to 5,150 rupiah, the sharpest advance this month. The company plans to build four toll roads on Sumatra island, Bisnis Indonesia reported today, citing President Director Adityawarman.
