DM Buys Nine Schlecker Stores, Interested in 60 to 80 Outlets

German drug store retail chain DM - Drogerie Markt GmbH acquired nine outlets from the assets of insolvent Anton Schlecker GmbH.

DM, which plans to expand by 100 stores in Germany this year, is interested in taking over 60 to 80 Schlecker outlets, the company said in a statement on its website today.
