Korea East-West Power Seeks to Buy Fuel Oil for Delivery in July

Korea East-West Power Co., one of the generating units of Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEP), is seeking to buy 100,000 metric tons of fuel oil for delivery in July, according to a notice e-mailed to potential sellers.
Details of the company’s planned purchase are as follow:
---------------------------------------------------------------- Products: Fuel oil Quantity: 2 x 50,000 tons Sulfur: Maximum 2.5 percent Viscosity: Maximum of 540 centistokes Delivery: July 8 to July 12 and July 21 to July 25 Port: Ulsan, cost and freight (CFR) Offers Close: June 15, 2 p.m. Korea time ----------------------------------------------------------------
The oil’s centistoke rating is a measure of its viscosity, or flow rate, when heated.
