Russia’s Black Market for Mobiles Totals 20%, Vedomosti Says

June 7 (Bloomberg) - The volume of black market mobile phones in Russia last year reached 18-20 per cent of overall sales, Vedomosti reported, citing the vice-president of Euroset Victor Lukanin.

Almost every second Apple Inc. iPhone introduced to Russia bypassed “official channels,” the newspaper said.
