Peru Stocks: Credicorp, IRL, Minsur, Southern Copper
The following companies had unusual price changes in Peru trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the close of trade in Lima.
The Lima General Index (IGBVL) was little changed at 21,020.17. The MSCI All Peru Capped Index climbed 0.7 percent to 2,737.29.
Minsur SA (MINSURI1) (MINSURI1 PE), the world’s fourth-largest tin producer, rose 2.7 percent to 2.65 soles after tin advanced in London, said Hernando Pastor, an analyst at Lima-based Kallpa Securities SAB.
Credicorp Ltd. (BAP) , Peru’s largest financial-services company, gained 1.7 percent to $123, in line with gains by its New York-traded American depositary receipts.
Southern Copper Corp. (SCCO) , Peru’s biggest copper producer, gained 1.4 percent to $30 after copper rose in London.
Minera IRL Ltd. (MIRL) , a U.K. gold producer with a mine in Peru, climbed 1.3 percent to 80 cents after the company announced it signed a 30-year surface rights agreement with local communities for its Ollachea gold project.
