CTC Media’s Russia TV Audience Shares Steady, TNS-Global Says
CTC Media Inc. (CTCM)’s CTC television channel remained the fifth most-watched among Russian viewers 18 years and older in the week to June 3 as its audience share was steady, according to TNS-Global.
Viewer share for CTC TV, the Nasdaq-listed Russian media company’s biggest source of revenue, was at 5.5 percent, unchanged from the previous week, data researcher TNS-Global said by e-mail today. CTC’s average daily audience among viewers 4 years old and over was also unchanged at 6.3 percent in the week to June 3, the data show. CTC remained in fifth place among viewers 4 years old and over, TNS-Global said.
Russia’s NTV Television was the most watched among both audience categories. Government-controlled Rossiya-1 was pushed to the third-most watched slot in both categories after occupying the most-watched spot in the week to May 27, the data show. Pervyi Kanal had the second-biggest audience in both categories, the data show. TNT was the fourth-most watched channel among viewers in both categories, the data showed.
